Tanglewood Tales, was premiered by Jaap van Zweden on 14 January 2012 in the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, in the Zaterdagmatinee. Before the Coda was added Untangled Tales and Entangled Tales formed this larger orchestral work entitled Tanglewood Tales

Mouvement I - Untangled Tales (2011)
Commissioned by the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie with financial support from the Ernst van Siemens Stiftung
Dedicated to George Benjamin, Lothar Zagrosek and the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie

Premiered on the 16th of September 2011 in Neubrandenburg at the Festspiele Mecklenburg Vorpommern in Germany as part of the Summer project "Recherche Suspendu" and Tour of JDPh

Mouvement II - Entangled tales (2007)
Commissioned by the Boston Symphony Orchestra with financial support of the Fund for the Creation of Music
Dedicated to Edo de Waard and Tony Fogg

Premiered by the Boston Symphony Orchestra on the 6th of August 2007 in the Koussevitsky Shed conducted by Ludovic Morlot.

Dutch premiere on the 31st of November 2008 by the Residentie Orchestra conducted by Neeme Järvi.

Symphony No.1 "Tanglewood Tales" (2007-2011)
After the Coda was composed Tanglewood Tales was transformed in to De Raaff's Symphony No.1 "Tanglewood Tales" which was premiered by Arie van Beek in Concergebouw De Doelen in Rotterdam, during the Classic:NEXT edition of 2016, with Orchestra Symphonique de Picardie and the Doelen Ensemble

Coda
Composed in 2014 to complete the bigger vision De Raaff had with the two movement Tanglewood Tales. The added Coda transformed Tanglewood Tales in to Symphony No. 1 "Tanglewood Tales"
