The first two movements of Robin de Raaffs Flute Concerto were premiered on 15 December 1995
in the Bachzaal of Amsterdam as Antinomie for flute solo & ensemble. Raymond Honing performed the flute solo part and an Ensemble of the Conservatory of Amsterdam was conducted by Harrie Starreveld.
With an added final movement the work was completed as De Raaffs Flute Concerto and premiered on 26 January 1996 by Raymond Honing on Flute again in the Bachzaal of Amsterdam, during the Final Flute Examination of Raymond Honing.
